Janith Goedde recently celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary with her beloved husband Joe. In celebration of such an important milestone, Janith decided to wear her original wedding dress to her anniversary party. The 80-year-old grandmother was thrilled to discover that her dress was in excellent condition despite the fact that she hadn’t taken any special precautions to preserve it.
Janith and Joe were married in Haubstadt, Indiana. Her gown was floor-length imported Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over satin, fastened down the back with tiny covered buttons. The fitted lace bodice was designed with Sabrina neckline and embroidered in pearlized sequins, with long sleeves tapered over the wrists.

Ali, Janith’s granddaughter, shared photos of her grandmother in the wedding dress on Twitter where they quickly went viral. Viewers everywhere were impressed by how fabulous Janith looked in her dress after 60 years.
