A clean windshield is great for a good drive, but sometimes you find yourself leaving streaks. Here are a few helpful hints and tips to get your glass as clean as crystal!
What do you need?
All you need is a microfiber towel (paper towels can work in a pinch), a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (or rubbing alcohol), and some glass cleaner. With these three things, you can get your windshield crystal clear.
Pre-Wipe
Go ahead and pre-wipe the glass. With the dry microfiber towel, give the windshield a quick wipe down with a circular motion, then follow up with an up-and-down motion. This helps get rid of the loose dirt and dust which are some of the biggest culprits to leaving streaks.
Full Cleaning
Soak the magic eraser for a few seconds in some warm water and wring it out so it’s not sopping wet. Clean the glass in a circular motion, and follow up with an up-and-down motion yet again. Then immediately wipe it dry with your microfiber towel. This is key.
Make it Shine
Now make it shine by spraying some glass cleaner onto your microfiber towel and again, go circular then up-and-down to be extra thorough. You’ll come out with a super clean windshield that sparkles. You won’t even be able to see it!
