If you don’t know, Les Misérables is a French historical novel written by Victor Hugo and is considered one of the greatest novels of the 19th century. After the novel was published, a French songwriter named Alain Boublil had the idea to adapt the novel into a musical.
Since the novel was first published in 1862 it’s only grown in popularity and has many adaptions for film, stage, television and more.
The song “One Day More” is one of the most iconic songs from the musical. It’s even made it’s way into wedding receptions.
