Nick Denbow couldn’t believe it when he was barred from entering the family living room. After cleaning the house, his mother had put up a notice announcing the shared space was off limits until after the holidays. The incredulous teen shared her sign on twitter, but was even more surprised by the dozens of followers supporting his mother.
okay how my mom just gonna close down the living room for a month ?? pic.twitter.com/ALDzJbC8AK

Her sign reads,
This room has been cleaned for the holidays and is offically CLOSED until Thanskgiving.
Special permission will be considered for you to sit on my clean furniture and/or walk on my clean carpet only after the following conditions have been met:
1) You have showered and are dirt and odor free from top to toe.
2) You are wearing freshly laundered clothing.
* If permission is granted… NO food or drinks are permitted at this time!Thank you!
You may choose one of my many titles…
~ Mom
~ Payer of the bills
~ Chauffeur
~ Queen of the castle
~ Person ruining your life
~ Bossy bitch in chargeWhatever works for you! 🙂
Some of the family finds it hilarious, but one of her sons isn’t amused. No one has entered the living room since she posted the sign and it still looks immaculate. Even the family pets have abstained from entering the room.
After his tweet went viral, thousands have come forward in support of his mom’s decision.

@nickdenbow11 Can your mom adopt me? I'm mom-less, and she seems perfect.

Thanksgiving is just short of three weeks away, and it looks like the Denbow living room will be pristine when the big day finally arrives. This may be the first of many homes to institute a ‘closed until further notice’ policy to prepare for the big feast.
