People everywhere fantasize about meeting their favorite celebrity and every once and a while that dream comes true. For Courtney Potts, it couldn’t have happened at a better time.
Stranded on the side of the road with a small child and a flat tire is a miserable experience. Courtney found herself in that exact situation in rural Tennessee and thanked the heavens with a good Samaritan pulled over to help. But she couldn’t believe her eyes when none other than country music superstar Luke Bryan stepped out of the pickup truck.
Wanting to keep things casual, Potts tried to play it cool and not make Bryan feel awkward. He had been on his way to a hunting trip with his kids when he came across Potts. Bryan knelt down and used his own tools to fix her car, while Potts captured the moment on her phone, even though she initially found it embarrassing.
Potts was impressed by Bryan’s down-to-earth nature. He didn’t act like a celebrity, but rather like any concerned driver helping out another. After about thirty minutes, Potts’ car was back in working condition. Grateful for Bryan’s assistance, she took a photo with him and shared the clip on social media.

The post quickly went viral, amassing thousands of likes and over a million views. Potts was amazed by the response and the support she received from people she hadn’t spoken to in years.
