Man registers a pet alligator as emotional support animal

Joseph Henney is a resident of York County, Pennsylvania. Joseph, like many other Americans, has an emotional support animal. Unlike many of those people, Joseph has an alligator as an emotional support animal.

According to The Washington Post, Joseph takes his alligator, WallyGator, almost everywhere he goes.

WallyGator, according to Joseph, enjoys affection.”When he turns his nose toward you, that means he expects a kiss,” Joseph explained. “He’s super sweet-natured.”

Joseph also emphasized that his relationship with WallyGator is special, and that not just anyone can expect something similar. “Wally is definitely not your average crocodilian. He’s a very special gator, but I wouldn’t recommend that anyone get one.”
