Men’s hair styles have been consistent throughout time except for the oddball trend like when guys grew it out in the 70s or the short reign of the faux hawk (it’s that style Beckham made famous), but for women, it’s a whole different story.
Joan Irvine’s been rocking her beehive hairdo for 40 years. Her kids thought her hair would never change. Joan herself says it’s about a four-hour process! And she rarely lets her hair down except maybe for swimming.
That’s when Oprah and her team stepped in and changed everything up.
