One-armed violinist stuns crowd with beautiful performance, thanks to special prosthetic bow-arm

Manami Ito, a Japanese violinist, didn’t know just how special her music was until her ability to play the violin was taken from her.

Although she had played the violin since the age of 7, Manami admits that neither performing nor practicing truly captured her heart. Until she lost her right arm in a car accident at the age of 20.

Unbelievably, the traumatic experience helped her rekindle a long lost love of music. Her violin now became a source of inspiration to overcome her disabilities. She found a passion for the stringed instrument that had long eluded her and went on to become a professional musician with the aid of a prosthetic.

Today, Manami stuns crowds with beautiful music with the help of a special prosthetic. Watch the full video below to hear more about her incredible will to do what many called impossible.
