Music and Memories — Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain” will really take you back in time

Carly Simon wrote and performed “You’re So Vain” and it was released in the fall of 1972. The line “You’re so vain, you probably think this song is about you,” is one of the most memorable refrains of the 70s and the song was a huge hit. It was eventually added to Billboard’s list of 100 Greatest Songs of All-Time and still nobody knows exactly who it is about.
