A couple of folks saw a cat in the snow and at first they thought nothing of it, but then they took a closer look. They realized the poor animal wasn’t just having a rest, the cat had literally become frozen to the ground.
Thankfully they were passing by and saw it, because they jumped right up, fetched a pail of warm water, and slowly worked to free the cat from the ice. They wrapped her in one of their coats and took her home to nurse back to health.
Thank goodness it has a happy ending but the message remains — If it’s too cold outside for you, it’s too cold for your pet. They have protective coats to shield themselves from the elements but that doesn’t mean they can’t freeze.
This took place in Russia where it gets extra cold but go ahead and bring your pets indoors when it’s frozen outside, we’re sure they’ll be grateful!
