Simon didn’t think this woman could sing. He rolls his eyes and balks at her choice of singing an Aretha Franklin song, but pretty soon, he’s the one who feels regretful because he shouldn’t have second-guessed this young woman. She blows him away along with the rest of the audience.
The show is “Britain’s Got Talent” and the young lady is a 14-year-old music fan named Destiny Chukunyere. She sings the hit Franklin song “Think.” She does a very good job and most commenters are wondering why she didn’t get the special “Golden Buzzer.”
By the time she was done singing, the whole room is on their feet including the judges. It’s something else!
