Co-owners of The Gentle Barn animal sanctuary, Jay Weiner and Ellie Laks, rescued Karma the cow from bad conditions. Little did they know, Karma actually had a baby calf that the guy at the farm failed to mention.
On her first night at the sanctuary, she cried and cried for hours. This pushed Jay and Ellie to investigate why. They noticed she was dripping milk from her udders and returned back to the farm they got Karma from and were happy to find out that her baby calf was waiting there for her.
Very stressed and weak from no nourishment, the baby took a bit to get her into the pen that Karma was desperately trying to get out of so she could comfort her calf.
Watch this incredible reunion of mother and child, it will be sure to remind you that animals have the same love for their families as we do.
