Phyllis had a rough time at a period in her life. She was in a pretty bad marriage and her husband was abusive, then the divorce didn’t make life any easier, so she dove into a bottle thinking there was no other place to go. That lead to prison as it sometimes does, but you know what God does. He closes a door and opens a window.
It’s when she thought she had nothing else left when her life turned around. She got given a day pass to leave prison and visit a ranch. She found a 3-year-old horse and the two quickly became a pair.
She realized that when she would get out of prison she’d have $300 to her name and that was exactly for how much the ranch would sell her the horse.
