Loretta Lynn, the coal miner’s daughter herself, suffered a stroke in her Tennessee home late last week. The 85-year-old first lady of country was preparing to tour the country with a new show for her latest studio album “Wouldn’t It Be Great,” which will hit stores this August.
Lynn was rushed to a Nashville hospital on Thursday, May 4th. Early this week fans were relieved to see some good news posted on her official website,
She is currently under medical care and is responsive and expected to make a full recovery.Loretta, who just celebrated her 85th birthday, has been advised by her doctors to stay off the road while she is recuperating. Regrettably, upcoming scheduled shows will be postponed.
