If you’ve ever spent a lot of time around dogs, you’ve probably noticed some dogs start shaking during certain situations.
The first two situations that come to my mind are during thunderstorms or firework shows. If an owner can’t calm their canine down, there are other options available to them.
A dog’s hearing is more sensitive than a human’s and dogs can also suffer from anxiety. It’s important to be aware of your dog’s actions because they can’t diagnosis themselves or communicate what’s bothering them.
My adorable dog had problems during thunderstorms. He would shake and try to bury himself under our couch. Instead of putting pills down his throat, I tried an alternative.
The alternative method I used is called a “half wrap.” If you have a scarf or Ace bandage, you already have everything you need. The scarf or bandage is wrapped around the dog and hits key pressure points for anxiety relief. Watch the video for a detailed tutorial!
