A construction worker trying to go home after a hard day’s work was surrounded by a crowd protesting the Dakota pipeline. As the protesters drew closer to his vehicle and blocked the roadway, the man drew his firearm and showed it to the crowd. While slowly creeping through the protesters, the construction worker told them he was just trying to go home and didn’t want any trouble. They continued to block his path shouting “We are peaceful! Put your gun away! We love you!”
Despite peacefully loving the man, the protesters were still stopping him from his journey home. Several protesters who refused to exit the road were injured as he ran over them. He stopped and exited the vehicle ordering the protesters to back away. After he returned to his vehicle and tried to leave, protesters began jumping on his truck and hanging from the door and window.
The entire incident was captured on video. Some protesters allege that the man was screaming obscenities at them and firing his weapon wildly in the air, but no gunshots were recorded on the video below.
