The 17th day of Wimbledon 2017 will likely be remembered as the funniest moment in the history of Tennis.
During the Ladies Invitation Doubles Match on Saturday, Kim Clijsters broke the rules in the most spectacular way possible.
While preparing to serve, Kim could hear a man’s voice yell out from the crowd to “body serve.”
Kim laughed at the comment and yelled back “You said body? Why don’t you go there?” before inviting the man onto the court.
To the crowd’s absolute delight, the hefty Irishman climbed onto the court. The man, later identified as Chris Quinn, borrowed a racket and took position.
The crowd and commentators are at a complete loss for words and this point and are left in fits of laughter when someone realizes Quinn isn’t wearing white, a requirement to participate at Wimbledon.
Refusing to break any more rules, Kim ran to her bag and pulled out a spare skirt and top for Quinn.
What happened next was almost too much for the commentators!
