Meet Mohammad Hasher, an incredible young man who did everything in his power to save his little sister from a broken heart. Last November Hasher’s parents went through a nasty divorce and his father has refused to speak with him or his sister. The 17-year-old knew there would be some changes, but he never expected to be completely abandoned.
One morning Hasher awoke to find his 6-year-old sister wearing a fancy dress instead of her usual pajamas. When he aseked her why she was so dressed up the little girl told him that there was a father-daughter dance at her school tonight. She knew she wouldn’t be going to the dance, but she still wanted to wear the dress to school anyways.
Hasher was crushed by his sister’s childish innocence and knew something must be done. He decided to make the whole day about her. After school he took her shopping for a new outfit and visited the salon so she could have her hair done. That night Hasher took his father’s place and danced with his little sister.
The adoring older brother told the Huffington Post “It filled my heart with happiness seeing her dance with so much joy and have fun with all of her friends.” Hasher’s story has since gone viral with thousands of readers across the world hailing him as a kind-hearted hero.
